The map shows one of three charts, picked at the top of the page. Each is fetched for every country ahead of time and refreshed about every three hours, so what you see can be a few hours old — the top bar says how old.

The music videos YouTube is showing as trending in each country right now. YouTube ranks these by how fast a video is catching on, not by how much it is watched in total, so new releases stand out and long-running favourites can be missing.

Apple Music · today

The songs played most on Apple Music in each country over about the last day. Countries without Apple Music are left grey.

Each country's "Top" chart on Deezer, updated about once a week. Deezer publishes these for fewer countries than the other two, and does not label songs by genre, so the sound picker hides while Deezer is showing.
